Needless to say, previous actors who played in ‘Thor’ and ‘Thor: The Dark World’ were jealous of how things changed tremendously during the third franchise. From deeply dark (and even boring for some!) tone Alan Taylor set for the movie, both viewers and actors had more fun on the third flick.
Now, we’ve heard that actor Christopher Eccleston wants to return to the franchise back to MCU if ‘Thor: Ragnarok’ is back to film it. Eccleston played Malekith during the second film and has had his own share of stories while filming. He complained about how he “was in make-up for six, seven hours every day” and nobody told him before this.
He also points out the clear lack of humor in the movie, which we can all agree with. He added, “I understand that some people love that particular film, and some of you actually like Malekith the naughty elf, so that’s only my experience within it. But I know that people love the film and I accept that and I’m careful about it. I’m so diplomatic these days.”
He’ll gladly return to the universe if Taika Waititi continues to help the series back. Waititi has also been bringing back old faces such as Darcy Lewis’ actress Kat Dennings and of course, the new Thor Jane Foster who’s portrayed by Natalie Portman.
Meanwhile, we also wonder if Chris Hemsworth will return as ripped Thor or the more recent sleazy look of fat Thor. We’ll keep finding out more and at the very least, the trailer and poster will reveal the fact!
‘Thor: Love And Thunder’ directed by Taika Waititi will arrive in theaters on Nov 05, 2021.
