‘Ant-Man’ was not very popular until he kept making huge entrances, literally, in subsequent movies of Marvel. The team was introduced to the guy in ‘Captain America: Civil War’ and after that, became a main player who revealed the possibility of time travel in ‘Endgame’. But now that ‘Endgame’ has passed, what has become of Scott Lang?
Phase 4 revealed interesting new movies with new characters. ‘Black Widow’ will become the epic introduction to the new phase, telling the story of Natasha Romanoff.
The fate of ‘Ant-Man’ has been clear – in teasing the fans, Kevin Feige told New York Times:
“The chess pieces were arranged very purposefully after ‘Endgame.’ Those that are off the board are off, and those that are still on, you never know.”
Among many heroes that met their end, Scott Lang was among them that didn’t. He was seen sitting on the porch with his daughter who’s a teen now with the Wasp portrayed by Evangeline Lilly.
The only reason that Marvel hasn’t said anything to them and that production and filming haven’t started would be because Paul Rudd and Lilly are busy with ‘Ghostbuster 2020’ sequel.
What we don’t know is whether it will become a threequel or be adapted as a series that can be streamed on Disney+. The streaming service mentioned latter, however, has no titles that are related to the two.
Don’t get your hopes up, but it’s pretty safe to say that these rumors wouldn’t come up with a reason!
